Happy 4th of July!!!
If you need an easy recipe for a BBQ, this coleslaw is amazing. The first time I made this it quickly became a household favorite. I tossed all of my previous slaw recipes and made this my go to. We like to serve it with smoked ribs or brisket but it will compliment just about anything you put next to it. Especially this Grilled Flank Steak
Adapted from Chick-fil-a
4 teaspoons vinegar
¼ cup sugar
1 rounded teaspoon yellow mustard
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup mayonnaise
2 bags of finely shredded cabbage or a head of cabbage shredded in food processor
3 shredded carrots
Shred cabbage and carrots in food processor.
Place vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and mayonnaise in a large bowl and whisk to mix. Add shredded cabbage and carrots. Mix to combine. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
