Hey Guys!!
This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is one of my favorite quick bread recipes and it’s so easy to make. It’s also perfect when I need to use up some ripe bananas. I love to have a slice for breakfast with a couple of hard boiled eggs and some fresh fruit.
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas (mashed with a fork)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Grease 9×5 loaf pan
In a small bowl combine: flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl beat together butter and sugar with an electric mixer until well blended. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add bananas and vanilla and mix well.
Mix in dry ingredients and mix gently until just blended.
Gently mix in chocolate chips.
Pour into greased pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center clean.
Remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy!
