February Reads

Hey Guys,

I read seven books this month, five of them were really good, one I thought for sure was going to be good but the ending ruined it for me and one was a total bust. It’s bound to happen once in a while when you read so many books.

I hope you’ll find something here to inspire you to pick up a new book this month too.

I actually finished the Marriage Lie by: Kimberly Bell this book was great up until the last chapter then it just ruined it for me, I definitely walked away from it disappointed. It pulled me right in from the very first page and I wanted to keep reading to the end I just really wish the ending had been different.

My favorite book this month was Killers Of The Flower Moon by: David Grann, this was my only non-fiction read of the month. It’s a true story about the FBI’s first real homicide case and how they handled it. I read it in two days, it pulled me right in from the very first page.  If you like true crime novels and history I highly recommend this book!

The Perfect Stranger by: Megan Miranda was my least favorite book of the month, it was very hard to get into and I found myself constantly distracted while trying to read it. Normally when I’m reading I get so absorbed in the book I don’t hear anything around me that just wasn’t happening with this book.

The Wife by: Alafair Burke was so good!! This is a psychologically suspense that will keep you guessing until the very end.  This was the first time I had read one of her books and I was really impressed. I’m looking forward to reading some more of her books including the ones she co-wrote with Mary Higgins Clark.

The Dry by: Jane Harper is this authors first book and is so good!!! I can’t recommend it enough, its based in small town in Australia that has lots of secrets. With each page we learn a new one and another piece of the puzzle to solve the mystery.

The Ex by: Alafair Burke, this book was another really great read for me this month. I am really starting to love this author. I have some other books of hers I want to read but I love how in this book and The Wife she had a crossover character. I love that especially if it’s a character you really like.

The last book I read in February was Still Mine by: Amy Stuart, this book was full of mystery and suspense. I read it in a couple days because I was so curious to see where the author was going to take the story. There is a lot of mystery behind some of the key players in the story which makes you want to know more as you get deeper into the book.

I have some great books lined up for March until then you can find what I’m currently reading along with all my favorite and most recommended books here.

If you have any questions or comments about any of these books don’t hesitate to leave a comment below, I love hearing from you.
