I can’t believe March is over, I feel like 2018 is just flying by! It also means we’re one month closer to warmer weather which I’m so ready for! At the moment some of my gardens are still covered in snow but at least the hardest part of winter is over for us.
This past month was my birthday month and I have some fun favorites to share with you including a giant whoopie pie that I chose for my birthday cake.
The first monthly favorite is my Tom’s Desert Wedges, these shoes are so cute and super comfy. The color I’m wearing is the Castlerock Grey. I was actually able to wear them a couple times this month during some random warm days.
My other fashion favorite for March are these lightweight sweaters from Target. They remind me of the sweater version of a long sleeve tee and come in three colors. These are on clearance right now from $17.99 to $12.58. You can see a different color and another way I styled it here.
My favorite book this month was The Plea by Steve Cavanagh, it’s a legal thriller about a Defense Attorney named Eddie Flynn. It was such a great read I wanted to reread it when I finished it! You can learn more about it in my March Reads.
I had a couple favorite delicious sweet treats, the first was the giant Whoopie Pie I requested for my b-day cake.
The other was these organic jelly beans I found at Target from Black Forest Organic, they have no artificial dyes in them which I always look for when buying candy. My youngest son has a sensitivity to red#40 so I try to avoid buying things that have it.
One of my favorite house projects happened in the month of March as well, the boys full bathroom redo. I was so happy with how this space turned out, it had been on our to-do list for a while and I was so glad to finally have it done. You can find all the details about how we made this small dark space into a bright and airy one here.
My favorite tv show this month has been Forensic Files, it’s on during the weekends and I’ve been enjoying relaxing in the late afternoon with Mr.JMM watching a few episodes before dinner. I’ve actually seen every episode but I still enjoy watching them again, forensic science is such an interesting thing to learn about.
That’s it for this months favorites, I can’t wait to see what fun things April brings hopefully some warm sunshine!
