I just finished reading ‘The Cottages on Silver Beach’ by RaeAnne Thayne, this is the most recent book from the Haven Point Series but can also hold it’s on as a stand alone book. This author is one of my favorites from the romance genre and this book didn’t disappoint.
If you love small town romances you will really enjoy this book along with the others from this series.
Megan runs her families inn and loves being a photographer, she’s stayed in Haven point to help her brother Luke with his two children because his wife went missing years ago. She hopes to someday leave and travel to pursue her photography.
Elliot is an FBI Agent in Denver and a bestselling author of crime novels who comes home to Haven Point to recover from an injury and finish his book. He’s also always felt Luke had something to do with his wife’s disappearance and decides to look into the cold case while home.
Ironically he rents a cottage online to stay while home and it’s right next to the cottage that Megan lives in while running the Inn.
Megan doesn’t want her family hurt by the past being brought up again and Elliot also known as a pit-bull can’t seem to let it go. On top of all of that there is an attraction boiling up under the surface between the two of them.
If you love romance books with a little bit of mystery I definitely recommend this book. I’m already looking forward to the next one in the series.
I’m about to start another romance book from an author I’ve never read before so I will let you know in my next mini review my thoughts.
You can keep up with what I’m currently reading along with all my favorite and most recommended books here.
